When planning to film the campaign for The Zoë Pastelle Edit in the breathtaking landscapes of Engadin, we were searching for the perfect sound and voice to accompany this special collection. We wanted every detail to reflect the spirit of this collaboration: natural, timeless, and deeply connected to nature. The soft mountain light, the quiet beauty of the surroundings, and the soundtrack that carried it all.
The music you hear in our video comes from Ursina, a singer and songwriter whose voice feels as though it was born in the very valleys where we shot.
Ursina grew up in Disentis, a remote mountain village in Eastern Switzerland, where a subtle sense of longing is woven into everyday life. That gentle melancholy, a homesickness even before anyone has left, runs like a quiet thread through much of her music.
Her song, sung in Rhaeto-Romanic, one of Switzerland’s oldest languages, is about childhood. It resonated perfectly with the themes of our edit: motherhood, timeless design, and the memories we carry forward. Listening to Ursina’s delicate, emotional voice in Engadin felt like the finishing touch — the missing piece that gave our visuals a heartbeat. You can experience the song in our campaign video here.
Ursina’s path has taken her far from her mountain village: from the Jazz School in Lucerne to Copenhagen, where she immersed herself in the Scandinavian music scene. There, she began writing in English alongside her mother tongue, creating a unique interplay of languages that enrich one another. Her music blends folk, pop, and singer-songwriter traditions with a rare sensitivity, treating the spaces between notes with as much care as the melodies themselves. It is this balance of bravery and gentleness that made her music the perfect companion for our campaign.
The result is more than just a film, it’s a story told through images and sound. A celebration of motherhood, childhood, and the timeless values that Zoë Pastelle and minimalisma brought to life through The Zoë Pastelle Edit.
