The Presence Collection
The Presence Collection is a poetic narrative crafted from the threads of two distant worlds. Reflecting my Nordic winters, the collection paints a portrait of a snow-covered Swiss dreamscape, seen through the innocent eyes of a child. It's about being present in a new culture. My children’s laughter, a gentle rustle of leaves, enveloped by the enchanting Swiss Nature, yet tied to my distant Nordic home.
The colour palette echoes the serene ambiance of a winter sunset over the Alps. Deep emerald and blue resonate with the tranquil Swiss lakes decorated with fallen leaves in pale yellow and red. Muted brown hues, blended with light shades of rose, visually compose a symphony of fresh-cheeked children playing in nature.
Wrap your kids and yourself in the warm embrace of our seamless merino wool essentials, a comforting layer of wool-silk, or our signature silk seamless blend. Knitted pieces in a wool-cashmere blend or pure cashmere are perfect for layering. We have extended our range of GOTS certified baby cotton essentials. Each piece is a childhood verse, simple and elegant.
This Presence is for now. Yet, in every stitch, there's a subtle yearning for my Nordic roots, an island's lullaby. The collection captures longing, merged with the joy of the present.

Q&A with founder & creative CEO Maja Akraberg
What inspired your AW24 Presence collection?
The AW24 Presence collection is deeply personal to me, as it represents the blending of two very different worlds—my Nordic roots and the life I have built here in Switzerland. Moving to Switzerland with my then-boyfriend and a six-month-old baby, I didn’t speak German and found my work options limited. So, I did what I knew best - I started minimalisma.
After more than a decade, Switzerland truly feels like home. But, a big part of my heart is still tied to Scandinavia, where I was born in Denmark and grew up in the Faroe Islands. My designs naturally reflect this mix - Swiss influences combined with a strong Nordic aesthetic.
This collection is the first time I have really put into words what it means to be based here in Switzerland. I wanted to create something that speaks to this journey - capturing the essence of being present in a new culture, while also honouring my roots.
Could you tell us about the materials used in the Presence collection?
For the AW24 Presence collection, we have brought back our favourite materials like the soft merino seamless and signature silk seamless, but with fresh twists on contrast details and new styles. Our cashmere collection is more extensive this season, and we are excited to introduce new baby and women's pieces in Oeko-Tex 100 certified wool-silk blend. We also added a luxurious cashmere-wool option, and our GOTS certified cotton group now features seven subtle shades.
What is new this season?
This season, we’re excited to introduce new materials like the Oeko-Tex 100 certified wool-silk jersey and a luxurious wool-cashmere flat knit. We’ve added some fresh styles, including new balaclavas, a stunning wool dress, and expanded cashmere accessories for babies and kids. For women, we’ve introduced a cashmere sweater along with new styles in wool-silk and pure merino. Men can look forward to the new Viking style in 100% merino wool. The collection also features new colour options, including a rich Emerald green, Steel blue in silk, and a range of new shades across merino wool, cashmere, and GOTS certified cotton.
