Talking to SofieWeinreichEngell

A little bit about me:
When I am not on maternity leave, I am running a cafe/center for homeless people. I opened Grace four years ago and I spend most of my time there. Being the leader of hundreds of volunteers and homeless takes a lot of time and energy, but I love it! There is always something to do and someone in need.

When I'm not working, my husband and I like to dance salsa/bachata (latin dance). Since J was born, we still continue this passion, with J watching from the buggy. Moreover, we enjoy living in the city; wining and dining is the best here. I also enjoy dancing ballet and doing yoga - although, I don't get to do much of that at the moment.

Another confession, I am a cake addict! So trying out new cake places with friends is another thing I I used to do a lot. I love baking and cooking all kinds of gluten- and lactosefree nice food, but mostly, we just make something easy.

Before I had J, we had lot of time to care for the small things. Now, I don't want to spend all day doing laundry, cleaning and cooking when I can be with my boy.

So I guess you could say that everything got a bit more relaxed.

I joined Instagram a loong time ago, but I didn't really get it until after James was born. After his birth, I startet to look for inspiration on Instagram, inspiration for outfits, nursery decor and such. I quickly learned that there is some kind of community in here. James loves being my "model" and I love styling and photographing him. We are both learning and Instagram has surely given me a new hobby. I spend a lot of time taking photos, uploading them, catching up with other mothers I have met through Instagram, etc.

I love going trough other profiles and get inspired by their styles, homes and also their words. I have realized that friendship can be something else than coffee dates. It can be uplifting words when you share something that isn't easy, it can be as simple as tagging someone and letting them know you think about them.
I never thought I would fall in love again, but I did.
